The project is a post-apocalyptic psychological drama that plays with film genres such as thriller and action, with its main cinematic references being Donnie Darko, John Wick, Fury and especially 28 Days Later.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u201cThe Blood We Swim In\u201d is a short film created by students for their last 2 trimesters of their Bachelor of Film at SAE University College. The project is a post-apocalyptic psychological drama that plays with film genres such as thriller and action, with its main cinematic references being Donnie Darko, John Wick, Fury and especially 28 Days Later.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Set in a distant, post-apocalyptic future, our short film tells the story of Oswald, the leader of a group of scavengers, who comes face to face with a devastating adversary seeking revenge. Being forced to watch his subordinates, soldiers, and family members being slowly eliminated.
